What is Veya?

Veya is an AI-powered voice recording and transcription tool for meetings and conversations. Record from your microphone, upload audio or video files, or capture audio from Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. Veya transcribes every word, identifies speakers, and generates action items, summaries, and more.

How accurate is the transcription?

Typically 90–95% for clear audio in English. Accuracy depends on audio quality, accents, background noise, and technical vocabulary. You can manually correct any errors in the transcript editor.

Do unused minutes roll over?

Monthly plan minutes reset on your billing renewal date and do not roll over. However, purchased minute bundles (top-ups) never expire — they remain on your account until used, regardless of your subscription status.

What are minute bundles?

Minute bundles are one-time purchases that add extra transcription time to your account. Available in 1-hour (£3), 3-hour (£8), and 5-hour (£12) packs. You can buy them anytime from Settings → Subscription. Bundle minutes are used after your monthly allowance is exhausted and never expire.

Can I record video calls (Zoom, Teams, Meet)?

Yes. When recording from a browser, use "Share tab audio" to capture audio from a specific browser tab playing a Zoom/Teams/Meet call. Alternatively, upload a recording file after the call. The Veya web app works in all modern browsers without requiring a separate download.

What file formats can I upload?

MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV, WebM, OGG. Maximum file size: 500 MB.

What is the Team plan?

The Team plan includes a shared workspace for up to 5 members. All members share the 3,000 min/month pool. Recordings from team members appear in your workspace. You can invite members from Settings → Team.

Is my audio data private?

Yes. Your audio is processed to provide transcription only. We do not use your recordings to train AI models. All data is stored on EU servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I share transcripts?

Yes. Create a shareable link from any transcript. Public links can be viewed without login. Private links require the recipient to sign in or create a free account, so you always know who is viewing your shared content.

How do I cancel?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. You can reactivate at any time.

Can I export my transcripts?

Yes. You can view, copy, and share any transcript. Export as PDF is available on the Starter plan and above.
